Links and Ressources about Brainwaves
Gamma waves
"We get about half a second of gamma; it’s the strongest wave in the EEG spectrum (...) What was stunning was that the Olympic level meditators (...) their brainwave shows gamma very strong all the time as a lasting trait just no matter what they’re doing."
What do different brainwaves mean
"The reality is that your brain is abuzz with all different frequencies of waves.
It’s just that certain ones are more dominant at any given moment, depending on what you’re doing and how you’re feeling."
Brain Waves 101
"Neural oscillations can essentially be boiled down into five different wave patterns. You have Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma waves and you've probably heard that these wave patterns are associated with different states of consciousness. this is both true and an oversimplification. It's not as though the brain is just operating in one single brain wave pattern and then all of a sudden it transitions into another brain wave pattern."
