Amazing visual, watch this!

The brain is made of 3 parts : the cerebrum,  the cerebellum and the medula oblongata.

The cerebrum is made up of 2 hemispheres, each made up of 4 parts : the frontal lobe,  the temporal lobe, the parietal lobe and the occipital lobe.

The limbic system

  • processing and regulating of emotions

  • the formation and storage of memories, sexual arousal, and learning

  • important element in the body’s response to stress

It is now thought the amygdala’s role is more complex than that of a “threat detector.” It may be involved with assigning positive or negative value to stimuli and with the consolidation of memories that have a strong positive or negative emotional component. It is also still being explored in a variety of other behaviors ranging from addiction

to social interaction.
